- **Event Description**: We invite everyone to a unique international online conference “Well-being and Mental Health in the Context of Art and Culture”, which will be held on September 17–19, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (CET).

This event will be held both online and onsite in the exceptional setting of the Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital in Prague and bring together artists, mental health professionals, and policymakers from across Europe to explore how art and culture impact our psychological well-being and quality of life.

What will we talk about?
We will look at the connections between mental health and the state of today’s world. Together, we’ll ask:
• How do global crises and social change affect our mental state?
• Can culture support individual and collective resilience?
• How can art become a healing tool — through therapy, self-expression or public engagement?
• What role should public institutions and cultural policy play in supporting mental health?

You’ll hear personal stories, expert insights and inspiring practices from across the EU — from artistic interventions to inclusive policymaking. Together, we’ll imagine new ways of working across sectors to improve well-being.
